Patience is not my biggest virtue. So it should surprise you (and me) that I waited over 2 months to receive shoes I ordered for my birthday.
I was a woman on a mission as soon as I found out in May, about customisable Ferragamo Varas. In the age of sexy Louboutins, Ferragamos may be considered a little old-fashioned and conservative for some, but they are fantastic for work (alas never seen on the blog since they live permanently in the office). I rarely buy designer shoes at full price but being able to put my own spin to a pair of classics - from the bow and heel colour to the choice of hardware - was a good enough reason to break that streak. But who am I kidding, it's more likely because I tend to lose all sense of self-control when it comes to birthday shopping.
Therefore, I seek forgiveness twofold: firstly, because I am still talking about the day I turned a year older. But most importantly because this post is nothing more than a showing off of these new lovelies:
I am OBSESSED. I haven't been able to take them off all week.
Do you still need further convincing to create a pair of your own? Then check out the really fun video below (if I ever get a second pair, I'm going for the Olivia Palermo combo):
If you are keen, do order now - since they are made in Italy, and with a current wait time of about 10-12 weeks, you can anticipate receiving them around Christmas!
Those are gorge! I've been lusting after a pair of beige ones with white accents and gold hardware. I've never worn Ferragamos before, do they fit TTS?
ReplyDeleteThey do fit TTS Lisa! And they also come in narrow sizes. I am between a 7.5 and 8 and went with an 8 AA (narrow) for this pair. If you have a store close by, I suggest trying them out for size! Beige, white and gold sound fabulous!
DeleteThey are pure perfection! Definitely worth the wait :)
ReplyDeleteI was dying Sara Louise - the wait is the only thing putting me off getting another pair at this time. Also that I don't have space for shoes in my apartment anymore!
DeleteAwesome! I love the tag on the bottom with your name. :) Maybe I'll consider a pair for the office....
ReplyDeleteThese are so lovely! If I do order, I would get the Varina's though. So comfy! Wish that they came in regular leather instead of patent!
