Rainy Sunday? Who cares! We're on holiday!

Hooray hooray it's a holi-holiday!

We fly out on a week-long vacation to St. Lucia and Barbados in the morning and I.CAN'T.WAIT!
Anthropologie Stormy Seas necklace, ASOS rings

The rainy Sunday was spent cleaning up the house (we hate coming back to an unkempt home), squeezing in one last pre-beach workout and of course, packing!
Current/Elliot Stiletto jeans, Banana Republic jumper and tank, Zara coat, Kate Spade umbrella
We are light travelers, relying on carry-ons for short journeys like these. Though for the first time, I am sacrificing my GHD-straightener space for trainers since we plan to hike/climb Petit Pitons, one of the two volcanic plugs in St Lucia.
Steve Madden Graanie lace-ups
Otherwise, the bags are packed with the usual - light, breezy outfits, sunscreen, hat, sunnies and every single pair of bathers I own.

We refrained from cooking today in order to clear out the fridge (not that anyone had to twist our arm or anything) and had a sweet meal at Red Cat. Even sweeter was the fact we were seated at what I consider one of the best tables in the restaurant (a corner spot), coincidentally where we were placed the last time we were here!
After that HUGE glass of red, I am surprised I sat through The Hunger Games viewing we went to after. Jennifer Lawrence is such a breath of fresh air, I am already looking forward to the release of Catching Fire.

So toodle-loo for a few days - I look forward to regaling you with tales of sun, sea and rum and cricket on my return!

  1. Oh! I haven't seen the Hunger Games yet. I've been waiting for the crowds to die down. This has got to be the cutest rainy day outfit ever. The jeans are awesome and I can't get over those rings! Have a fantastic trip!!

    1. I am so glad you got the rings too - they are without a doubt the most hard-working item in my wardrobe these days!
