Nothing, though, could keep me from a brunch date at Cafe Cluny with two of my favourite people in New York. For a couple of hours, I sneezed less, sniffled less and thank goodness, had my sense of taste miraculously reappear.
I didn't however take my camera out of my bag until I was nearly at the subway on my way home. On Bedford Street, this lion door-knocker caught my eye:
No matter they are a dime a dozen in the West Village, I absolutely adore them and look forward to having one when I have a place of my own complete with bright red front door!
Then I circled back half a block to this:
At only 9.5 feet wide, it's well deserving of the "Narrowest House in The Village" title.
It's on the market for a cool $4 million. To be across the street from the Little Owl and the luxury of a garden larger than your living room might be worth having to custom-make all your furniture to fit... right?
Cold and all, I can't help but have Spring on my mind. Beaten into the head repeatedly about what will be in season (FLORAL! NEON! DARK NAIL POLISH!), I'd like to thank my old self for holding on to these items from a few years ago as they are now (surprise, surprise) back in fashion again.
Hope y'all had a great weekend!
